60 Years of Service, 2007
We still think that having made it since 1947 is
neat--and a tribute to all the great people who have worked for us over the
years. This milestone is possible because of them.

We were awarded the 2002
Nortech Innovation Award for
The DrainStick™. We are pretty pumped that our small company
was able to do this two years in a row. There we were again among the
picoammeters, the micro machinery and the giant companies. If you would like
more info, go to the
The DrainStick™ page.
Well, after years of begging, a customer finally got tired of our whining
and said something nice. At the 2001 Source Tagging Council Meeting, Lowe's
recognized us for our Outstanding Partnership Initiatives - part of their
theft prevention program.
The same day of the Lowe's recognition, we were also presented the 2001
Nortech Innovation Award for Bayonet Threadless Tubular. The
awards are presented by the Northeast Ohio Technology Coalition (NorTech)
assisted by Enterprise Development, Inc. (EDI).
And with no begging at all, in 2001 we received a Retailer's Choice Award
from Do-It-Yourself Retailing magazine for the DrainStick™.

Again in 2001 we received another honor for the
DrainStick™. This was the Handyman Club of America's
Member-Tested Seal of Approval.

Superior Tool Company was named a finalist in the Innovators in Customer
Service category of the Inc./Cisco Growing with Technology Awards in 2000.
This recognition celebrates the creative ways Superior Tool uses the
Internet and networking technology to provide faster and more thorough
pre-sales information, post-sales support and on-going interaction and
service.

The Weatherhead 100 list is a compilation of the 100 fastest growing firms
in Northeast Ohio based on net sales growth over a five-year period. We made
the list in 1996, '97 and '98.

Circle of Excellence |
Normally, we do not get too worked up over awards from suppliers. However,
our customers are really tough on us. We need outstanding results from
our ERP (Computer Software) system. We think we are getting them.
Fourth Shift thinks so, too. That makes these guys pretty important to
us.

1998 Inclusion Award. We are proud of the people that comprise the
Superior Team. All of them.

A significant amount of our light assembly and packaging work is done by
developmentally challenged workers in our facility. SAW Inc. is the
Northeast Ohio non-profit organization that makes it happen. They honored us
as Company of the Year in 1997.

50 Years of Service, 1997 It's not so
much the plaque. It's just that we think that having made it since
1947 is neat. Plus, we actually were not sure about our founding date
until we received the recognition.

Employer of the Year, 1996
More recognition of our using the best workers to do
the jobs we have.
