For Solvent Welded Steel/Plastic Combo and Plastic Closet Rings

If possible, remove remaining portion of corroded and broken ring. If remaining portion cannot be removed, Super Ring™ will be mounted on top. Apply a small bead of RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) silicone sealant to the underside of the Super Ring that will mount on top of old ring.

Set Super Ring on top of remaining portion of old ring. Note old location, if possible, of old toilet bolt slots. The length of the bolt slots in the Super Ring allows for some centering of toilet. Secure the Super Ring to wood or concrete sub-floor with screws and anchors.
Because this is a "universal" adapter the outer tabs may have to be cut or trimmed off with a hacksaw on some toilets and clearance for proper fit of the Super Ring under the toilet base should be checked before attempting final bolt down of the toilet.

For Cast Iron Rings

Super Ring can be mounted directly on top of an old cast iron closet ring. Drill holes in any remaining portion of cast iron ring that corresponds with holes in Super Ring. Apply bead of RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) silicone sealant to underside of Super Ring. Large gaps or spaces around or underneath the closet ring can be filled with any quick setting type grouts, cements, etc.
Because this is a "universal" adapter the outer tabs may have to be cut or trimmed off with a hacksaw on some toilets and clearance for proper fit of the Super Ring under the toilet base should be checked before attempting final bolt down of the toilet.

Please Note: When setting toilet, use a wax bowl ring with plastic flange.
