Superior's Buyer Gets Hitched
Our Buyer, Mike Cintron, got married
August 4, 2007 to Elizabeth Hotchkiss in a lovely ceremony at Gesu Church on
the campus of John Carroll University. The weather was lovely and all their
friends and family had a great time.
Mike & Elizabeth met through martial
arts training and have known each other for 7 years.
Congratulations Mike & Elizabeth!

Fifth Annual United Way Lunch
Thanks for another great lunch! With
hard work from the folks at SAW (Solutions at Work) that do our packaging at
Superior, from the staff at United Way and from the Superior Tool Company
employees, we pulled off another great lunch for the kick-off of this year's
United Way campaign.
 We
couldn't have done it without the support of our suppliers, our friends and
business neighbors, and the families of our SAW team (SAW is affiliated with
the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities).
And special thanks to our Gina Sopko,
who not only coordinated the entire event, but headed the raffle and door
prize activities.

Another Award for The UltraCut
Superior Tool was recognized for
excellence in product design in the third annual Dealer Design Awards
Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News
magazine. An independent panel of 51 contractors acted as judges in the
contest. The UltraCut was the Silver Award Winner in the Tools Category. The
ACHR News is the leading trade magazine in the heating, ventilating, air
conditioning and refrigeration industries.
News Publisher John Conrad stated,
"These awards give us a unique opportunity to recognize the outstanding
research and development efforts that go into many of the products serving
the HVAC/R industry and the awards issue gives our readers an opportunity to
read about innovative installation and service solutions."
Winning entries in the Dealer Design
Awards were featured in the July 16, 2007 issue of The ACHR News, which is
distributed nationally to over 33,000 HVACR contractors, wholesalers, and
other industry professionals.

The UltraCut is Honored Again
Superior Tool has won the 2007 Power of Partnership
Gold Award for the "Manufacturer & Manufacturer" category from START-IT
magazine. Our vice president of Operations, Annette Dockus, accepted the
award in Chicago, IL, this month.

Superior Tool at NHS
Superior Tool made quite a splash at
the National Hardware Show in Orlando, FL, earlier this month:

'Home & Garden Television' (HGTV)
stopped by our booth to film our president, Chuck Mintz, demonstrating
the UltraCut (they included us during the Builders' Show, too). The
footage will air in June and September (check with
HGTV.com for the listing).

House" interviewed the UltraCut and Chuck (that's him on the left). You

UltraCut at IBS
We had a tremendous response to the UltraCut™ demos at
the International Builders Show in Orlando, Feb. 7-10, 2007. Thanks to the
distributors and exporters who asked to carry our tool--if the professionals

UltraCut in Action
We featured the UltraCut™ at the AHR
Expo (ASHRAE) in Dallas on January 29-31, 2007. We were encouraged to see so
many professionals, distributors and exporters in our booth, asking
questions and watching the UltraCut demonstrations. The response to the tool

The UltraCut™ had been chosen as a
Plant Engineering magazine 2007 Product of the Year. The Awards
ceremony is in March, so we'll have another Accomplishment to add to
the list then.
This exciting new product was not enough, so we also
introduced the technology that made it possible, AnyFuel™. AnyFuel
makes possible cordless tools where there were only corded or hand
tools before, creating a new category of tools and appliances. For the first
time, cordless tools can give professional results because of AnyFuel.

6oo Cuts in a Day
The UltraCut™ was the hit of the ISH
plumbing show in September, 2006, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers
(ASPE) show in Tampa in October and the STAFDA show in Novmeber. At ASPE,
our fearless demonstrator cut 600 pieces of tubing in about a day, leaving
his thumb exhausted. In fact, he hasn't worked the thing so hard since
playing Space Invaders in 1983.

Suddenly the media is really taking
notice of us
 Excitement
is building now that we have begun production of the UltraCut. We have been
telling people we will be in production in July and we made it. It was July
33, but, who's counting. Expect to see it in dealers in September. After the
Hardware Show, we had a nice mention in Popular Mechanics online
http://www.popularmechanics.com/blog/home/2776961.html.
Also, our Director of Operations,
Annette Dockus, was extensively quoted in the August issue of Smart Business
Cleveland. The link to that is

like the article, not so much because of how we do leasing but that we try
in every relationship with our suppliers to develop the same kind of
relationship.

Superior Tool Company/SAW 4th Annual
United Way Lunch Went "Over the Top"
The team really outdid itself. With
hard work from the folks at S.A.W. that do our packaging at Superior, from
the staff at United Way and from the Superior Tool Company employees, we
pulled off the greatest event in the history of events. (that's what I told
my mom, at least).
Even more important was the support of
our friends, our suppliers and, even the family members of our S.A.W. team,
we had a rousing good time and more than doubled the results from 2005. Over
$3000 was raised. A terrific result. Everyone talks about co-operation
between government (S.A.W. is affiliated the the Cuyahoga County Board of
Mental Retardation/ Developmental Disabilities), non-profit and for profit
(at least we're supposed to be). We did it. And had a barrel of fun.
It was also the tenth anniversary of the collaboration between S.A.W. and
Superior so we had a cake.

introducing the
DrainKey™ Tub Drain Remover
- the "if you gotta have it, you gotta have it" tool.
