A Little Background

EasyCAM was founded in 2007 by Rick Joy, a plumber who got tired of the cameras that were available and decided to build a better one.

Not better on paper. Better on the job.

The result was a modular, owner-serviceable sewer inspection camera system designed around one idea: when something breaks, you should be able to fix it yourself and get back to work. No shipping it out. No waiting three weeks. No losing jobs while your equipment sits in a repair shop.

That idea resonated. Plumbers, drain techs, and inspection professionals across the country started choosing EasyCAM, not because of the marketing, but because it worked the way they needed it to work.

What This Means

C.H. Hanson, the company behind Superior Tool®, acquired the EasyCAM product line earlier this year.

C.H. Hanson has been building professional tools since 1866. Fifth-generation, family-owned, headquartered in Naperville, Illinois. Their brands — Superior Tool, Palmgren, and now EasyCAM — are all built around the same principle: make tools that work for the people who actually use them.
